I'm a high schooler who's working on bio-hardware and projects in physics + engineering. Currently building Synapse Labs, a way to restore movement for people with paralysis.

my journey.
Web Development/ My first venture was a web dev agency that I built after my teacher told me "you could make $$$ off this". Built really meaningful relationships with a small group of clients and that was enough for me scale to over $20k in my first two years of high-school.
Quantum/ On a random day in the library, I picked up a book on quantum mechanics and became hooked on physics. Went really deep into it and after studying quantum for a couple of years, I wanted to apply my knowledge usefully. So I started building projects in quantum computing in my second year of high school. I've since built some cool stuff in the space and will continue to do so.
Deep Tech & Applied Physics/ Quantum acted as my gateway into the deep tech community and I ended up discovering so many insane things in other fields. Worked on a free-space optical comms system (aka laser internet) for a bit. Built workflows for energy companies during an internship at Harvard Ventures. Had a short opportunity where I prototyped a experimentation mechanism at the Quantum Matter Institute @ UBC.
Synapse Labs/ Throughout this whole journey, I gained a lot of transferrable skills that I'm now applying to build Synapse Labs w/ Tristan Jiang. At Synapse Labs, I'm building a bio-hardware system that enables paralyzed people to move non-invasively. Received grants + support from Emergent Ventures and SFU Ventures for further development. More info coming soon :)
